Resources for COVID-19: Employers and Businesses

We had such a large response from my original COVID-19 post that we are going to break out the resources and messaging into this separate post.

FOR EMPLOYERS

US-based businesses resources:

• SBA Disaster Relief Fund - this is the general announcement regarding SBA-backed loans administered by state for businesses impacted by COVID-19. Apply here.

• Facebook $100M Small Business Grants - just announced. More details to come.

California businesses:

San Francisco businesses:

• San Francisco Office of Economic Workforce Development Resiliency Fund - a $10K grant for microbusinesses (1-5 employees) that

• San Francisco-based Disaster Loan - administered by the local SBA office. Apply here.

• San Francisco City Deferment and Relief Schedule - San Francisco has deferred a lot of the fees and payments.

• Los Angeles Micro Loan - $5K-20K for small businesses affected by COVID-19.

New York businesses:

• New York Relief for Small Businesses - businesses with fewer than 100 employees are eligible for a $75K loan

FOR EMPLOYEES

• Unemployment Insurance (UI) for California employees
